A sample day​


As any parent will know, no 2 children, nor 2 days, are ever the same. However, we do like to try and keep a routine! As everyday is different, things can always change to better suit your child, the weather, a celebration etc.

This is just a sample of a 'typical' day, for a more detailed routine, based on your child's age, please come and see us.

7:30-8:00 Child arrives and has breakfast

8:00-8:30 Free play inside

8:30-10:00 School run, then explore the wider environment e.g. trip to park/garden centre

10:00-10:20 Snack

10:20-10:25 Nappy change *

10:25-10:45 Focused activity eg painting 'A picture of me'

10:45-12:15 Free play, inside or out

12:15-1:00 Lunch

1:00-1:20 Free play inside

1:20-1:25 Nappy change *

1:25-1:45 Quiet play

1:45-2:45 Sleep

2:45-3:15 School run

3:15-3:35 Snack

3:35-4:45 Free play, inside or out (with nappy change at 4:20*)

4:45-5:30 Tea

5:30-6:00 Free play inside

*Nappies will obviously be changed when needed, given times are there for if it hasn't been done within the previous 3 hours.
